This is the Nun symbol being used in the Middle East to target Christians.
The Nun is the Arabic letter for “N”.
When Isis militants took over the city of Mosul in June 2014, they painted the Arabic letter Nun – symbolizing the word Christian – on the homes of Christian residents. Then on July 19th, hundreds of Christians fled Mosul after Isis issued an ultimatum:
Leave, Convert or Be Killed!
They mean it as a mark of shame, we must then see it as a mark of hope: Yes, we are in the army of the Resurrected Nazarene, The Master and Lord of the universe, The Second Person of The Most Holy Trinity. You may kill our brethren and expel them, but we Christians WILL NEVER GO AWAY!
